this is the first place that you should visit before even joining the site. you can find the rules here, the plot, and any other helpful information that will guide you along your way to joining this site, as well as some application assistance if you need it. please don't overlook this section, because eventually we'll know if you do. and don't forget you can always pm evan with any questions or concerns you may have regarding anything on the site.
this board is reserved for staff members only and is inaccessible to other members of the site. this board will be used for discussing plot plans, creating new ideas for the site, and a general space for us admins to sort out business. remember, you can always offer your input or new ideas that you may have by pming any of the admins on the site.
you guessed it, this is the board where all the old threads will be stored. when you're done a thread, all you have to do is pm an admin with a link to it and we'll move it on over the national archives so that it may be locked and looked back on in the future. it's a great way to remember past plots between characters, or just recall previous threads.
one belongs to new york city as much in five minutes as they do in five years. here's the starting place of everything. in order to join, you'll need to post an application and it must be accepted by an admin. remember that this is an advanced site, and also remember not to modify the application form! please be patient, as we admins try our hardest to get around to reviewing every application as quickly as possible.
all accepted applications will be moved here once they have been approved by an administrator. once your are accepted you are free to go on to claiming, and of course, role playing. all applications are stored according to the member group that you have been sorted in to; hero, villain or human.
here's the one place for claiming and sign ups. everything is on a first come, first served basis so make sure you get this done immediately after being accepted! here you can find your claims for your character's job, celeb face and of course their power! make sure you read all of the information involved in the threads because claiming may not be as easy as it sounds because people have forgotten to use the codes provided and such in the past.
every character needs some friends, some foes and some lovers. well here is the place you can keep track of all of your characters' relationships with others using some neat relationship charts. make sure if you haven't made the one you're using, you credit whoever it is that made it.
everyone loves a good sub-plot. to arrange plots with your character and others post here! note that this board is for plotting with current characters, if you want to request someone to play a character, there is a seperate board for that. drama is a blast, and of course we encourage everyone to come up with awesome and intricate plots for their character. just post a thread and someone will come 'round eventually to offer a plot.
here's the place to actually request characters. if you have a character in mind, or need one for a plot or anything, just post here and anyone can reply to your thread! just feeling bored and wanting a roleplay? post that here too! just remember this isn't the place for arranging sub-plots because there is a seperate board for that.
anyone who lives on the upper east side knows that there's no place better to live than in a manhattan penthouse. they're conveniently located right in the city, extremely luxurious, and above all else, stunning as can be. the only down side is that they come at a hefty price, and not just anyone has the opportunity to live there because it does cost a pretty penny.
you can find apartment complexes all over the city. they range from substantial sized ones that the average person can afford, to ones that are less glamorous and less sizeable. apartment complexes are usually inhabited by most common folk. there are some really nice ones out there with great locations, but also some less fabulous ones as well.
those who are from brooklyn haven't quite had the opportunity to experience the finer side of luxurious living. people who live here generally have smaller homes, all located pretty close together. despite how people may think of brooklyn, these small houses do justice for those who don't need a whole lot of space.
BBM stands for blackberry messenger. in character chatting will take place here. if you're not sure how this works exactly, it's pretty straight forward if you can take a look at an example from an already started thread in this board. it's really easy and a good way to start a thread with someone or kill time while waiting for a reply. every character must have a bbm screen name.
you guessed it, this board is guest friendly! post your ad here but post only ONCE and make sure there is a guest friendly board that we can post our advertisement back on at your site too! we are allowing both proboards AND invisionfree ads again, so long as we can post back on your site. if you would like to affiliate, just add our button and reply to the affiliates board. thanks!
talk about anything here! this board is a free for all basically to discuss anything you would like. show your latest writing genius, or blab about how you're super excited to see the new batman movie! whatever it is, shpeal about it here! what are you listening to, hot or not, all those great games that help us pass the time can be found here as well. that sub-board is the only board for those game type threads so don't post them elsewhere.
going to be leaving the site for a while? where here's the place to let us know. just post a thread explaining your absence and approximately how long you may be gone for as well as who your active characters are. this way we'll excuse you from our activity checks while you aren't here and know that you haven't left the site for good.
need a pretty signature or avatar for your character? this is the place to come and post a request thread for a graphic. make sure to use the form provided for asking for graphics. anyone on the site is free to help out members by creating graphics for them!
